Full Time Lead Glass Glazier (with a minimum of 5 years experience as a Glazier for Residential & Commercial Glass)
We are a locally owned and operated glass business working with residential and commercial glass. We specialize in Custom Shower Doors, Hardware, Mirrors, Tabletops, Replacement of Insulated Glass and installation of Commercial Store Fronts. We are passionate about the details when working with our customers; that is why we are looking for someone who has an eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Measuring materials and openings for glass installations
- Calculating exact measurements from the tape measure
- Glass Handling-General lifting of heavy glass and installation of heavy glass in residential and/or commercial settings
- Custom Shower Enclosure Design and Installation
- Installation of Insulated Glass Units (IGU)
- Using construction tools and equipment to put together Custom Glass Shower Doors and mirrors on site
- Manually making & breaking straight cuts on glass and mirror; cutting large pieces of flat glass on a table
- Deliver high quality professionalism and customer service
- Comply with proper safety policies and procedures
- Ensure all tools & supplies are transported from each appointment
- Collect payments from customers when required
- Report any complaints or issues to management
Skill Set to Include
- Ability to lift and carry large heavy objects up to 75 lbs
- Ability to correctly read a tape measure, determine fractions, add & subtract measurements with fractions
- Ability to use hand power tools & small equipment
- H.S. diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Exceptional attendance
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- GLAZING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
